FAQ
Why are we doing this?
My family has decided to get involved in helping over population of cats and kittens because A major problem today in the pet industry is the destruction of unwanted pets due to overpopulation. Having your pet spayed is doing your part in the prevention of these unnecessary and unwanted strays. Also pet overpopulation is the major source for the perpetuation of diseases such as Distemper, Feline Leukemia, Feline Immunodeficiency Virus. Because these unwanted strays never receive adequate immunizations they harbor and spread disease to the rest of the pet population, and your animal.
How will my money be used?
I Know with all the scams going around people might not feel safe about donating and trust me I understand your donations is 100% Guaranteed! After each 60.00 I receive I will then turn around and buy a gift Certificate for a cat and get a receipt myself From catsnip and scan it and put it on the web along with all the names that made the purchase possible
How will you find the cats in need?
I will get referrals from area vets or catsnip them self.
What made me want to do this?
I learned the hard way I found a stray cat she 8 weeks maybe took her in my home and made her a part of my family didn't think a kitten could go in heat before a year old! Well I was wrong she went in heat and had two kittens I was planning on getting her fixed before a year but money was tight I was dealing with a high risk pregnancy so I didn't have extra funds and thought I would have time before she went in heat! Never again will this happen in my household and hope my mistake will help others learn how important it is to have kittens fixed at 6-8 weeks!
